# Mana Node Types

As you may have noticed on the first page when creating a node, there are several node options available. Essentially, they only differ in two aspects:

1. The farming speed for MANA quota tokens
2. The lock-up period for your staked SOL in the Manablast contract

Currently, only the *Basic Node* is available by default. This node fully replenishes your MANA balance every 24 hours (UTC)

Other nodes such as Silver and Gold are also available for staking. However, they require locking for a specific staking period on Solana, which allows for increasing the farming rate of MANA tokens as well as accelerating their recovery
